The clocks were set forward one hour overnight so an hour less sleep. That was okay as today was a sea day. Even so, we got up at 7:30 to a beautiful mid-70's bluebird day for our 658.5 nautical mile transit to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The sea temperature was 80.6 degrees and the swell was slight (1 ½ to 4 foot).  It looked to be smooth sailing for the day.

This was to be laundry day, so Lee and Shelly bundled up all our clothes that needed a wash and away they went to the Laundromat on our deck. Laundry done, the girls decided to head down to the clearance sale in the Bordeaux dining room.  Bob and I went down to the casino to wait for them.

To kill some time while waiting, I fed $50 into the 25 cent poker slots and watched my credits slowly dwindle to half the original amount. Then all of a sudden 4 aces came up along with a king. That little combination was worth 400 quarters or $100. I discarded the king and kept my fingers crossed for a 2, 3 or 4 to come up. And guess what? Up came a four which bumped the payout to 2000 quarters or $500! Happy day; this little jackpot more than made up for previous losses and left me with a tidy little sum to feed my gambling for the next couple of days.

Cashing out, Bob and I went in search of the girls at the sale. They made a couple of purchases, after which we all went up to The Grill at 12:30 for a burger. Then, back to the room for some R&R. At 3 o'clock the girls went down for bingo again. When they arrived back at the room an hour later they were all smiles. Lee won $100! I spent the afternoon on the veranda reading.

At 5:00 it was time to get gussied up for formal night again at dinner. Suitably attired, we made our way to the dining room for a very nice meal of lobster tail and a couple of giant prawns. Delicious! We finished dinner with an Irish coffee then back to the room to change.

Spent an hour or so in the casino then up to the room for a cocktail or two.  Did some reading for a while then off to bed at 11 pm.
